These bridesmaids are dressed in red and black sarees.  Even though these are rarely used colors in weddings these bridesmaids look really stunning. The jacket is tube top style and has a red and black mixed stone work on the top border.

This halterneck flower girl dress is very comfortable for the kids. It has a stone worked wide waist band and a puffed skirt. Red is a color lot of brides won’t think of for the flower girls.  But it has come out really nice.

Bride in a Made-up Kandyan

This is a very traditional bride dressed in kandyan. The ivory and gold color saree jacket has puffed sleeves. And the shoulders are very minimal. But fits perfectly and doesn’t fall down. And also I have to say that this is a made-up kandyan. Made-up kandyans are very neat and elegant than the normal kandyan.

   This is a bride dressed in a white and silver color saree.  It suits her skin tone very well.  This whalebone jacket is very elegant. The neckline of the jacket is unique. It started as a curved one but in the middle it goes straight. The worked saree piece has given an extra elegant to the blouse.

Flower Girls Frock

This is the flower girl dress was done for the same wedding, that I posted bridesmaids in my last post of “saree jacket-strapless”. The work is less than the bridesmaid jacket and two colors are similar. As always the work is not glued but hand sewn. This is a long dress and has puffed skirt.  Simple but pretty with the shining garment.

Saree Jacket - Tube top saree jacket

As I promised all of you I’m posting one of my May creations. This whalebone strapless saree jacket is created for bridesmaids.  The back is coded and has a simple work. Really nice colors calm but at the same time very stunning. This colors gives the precedence to the bride and clearly maids look pretty but won’t take the eye away from the bride. Lot of brides ask when thinking about a jacket like this “will it fall down?” The answer is NO. Sure if the maid is not very used to a dress that is really open like this, she will be at a unease first but few hours will take the edge of it.
